Fibosel®
Production animals are continually exposed to potential pathogens. Particularly during the first few weeks/months of life when their immune system is not fully developed (transition from maternal to acquired immunity), you may want some extra support. Without a fully functional immune system weaning, transport and mixing, will put their defences under pressure and disease outbreaks can cause significant mortality and reduced performance.
Based on a specifically selected and uniquel natural treated yeast strain (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), Fibosel is processed to guarantee consistent product quality. The essential yeast cell wall architecture is preserved, while exposing the beta-glucans for effective interaction with the immune cells, such as macrophages. Macrophages are important cells in the first defense line of the immune system
Product application
Fibosel is recommended for functional health feeds for animals without a fully developed immune system. As most aquatic species do not develop the specific (adaptive) immune system, we recommend to prolong the use of Fibosel in aquatic species.
Fibosel can be incorporated both in premixes as well as extruded and pelleted feed.
